ನರಲೋಕವೇನಸುರವೆನಿಪ ಜಗದಿಂ ಘೋರ |
ಮರಣವೇಂ ಜನದಿಂದ ಜನಕೆ ಉಪಕಾರ ||
ಪರಮಾತ್ಮಚಿಂತೆಯೆತ್ತಲಾತ್ಮಸಂಯಮವೆತ್ತ |
ನರಕಮಾರ್ಗಿಯೊ ಲೋಕ - ಮರುಳ ಮುನಿಯ || (೫೦೨)

ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಈ ಪ್ರಪಂಚವು ರಾಕ್ಷಸರ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದದು. ಸಾವೆನ್ನುವುದು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಂದ ಸಹಾಯ. ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವಾಗ ಆತ್ಮ ಸಂಯಮವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ? ಪ್ರಪಂಚವು ನರಕಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿ.

This world of human beings seems to be more terrible than the world of demons
