ಕ್ಷರ ಜಗತ್ತಿನೊಳಕ್ಷಯದ ವಾಸನೆಯ ಕಾಣ್ಬ |
ವಿರಸ ಮಧ್ಯದಿ ಸರಸ ಸಿರಿಯನಾಶಿಸುವಾ ||
ವರವದಾರ‍್ಗುಂಟು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಜಂತು ವರ್ಗದಲಿ |
ನರಜಾತಿಯೊಂದುಳಿದು - ಮರುಳ ಮುನಿಯ || (೬೭೬)

ನಾಶವಾಗುವಂತಹ (ಕ್ಷರ) ಪ್ರಪಂಚದೊಳಗೆ, ಶಾಶ್ವತದ ಜಾಡನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವ (ಕಾಣ್ಬ), ವೈಮನಸ್ಯ(ವಿರಸ)ದ ನಡುವೆ ವಿನೋದವಾಗಿರುವಂತಹ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ಶಕ್ತಿ, ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಜೀವಕೋಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯಜಾತಿಗೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಇನ್ಯಾರಿಗಿದೆ?
