ತನುವಿನಂಗೀಕಾರ ದಾಂಪತ್ಯದರ್ಧಗುಣ (526)

ತನುವಿನಂಗೀಕಾರ ದಾಂಪತ್ಯದರ್ಧಗುಣ |
ಮನಸಿನಂಗೀಕಾರವಿನ್ನರ್ಧವವರೊಳ್ ||
ಜನುಮದುದ್ಧಾರವಿರ‍್ವರಿಗಮನ್ಯೋನ್ಯ ಬಲ |
ವಿನಿಮಯ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂ - ಮರುಳ ಮುನಿಯ || (೫೨೬)

(ತನುವಿನ+ಅಂಗೀಕಾರ)(ದಾಂಪತ್ಯದ+ಅರ್ಧಗುಣ)(ಮನಸಿನ+ಅಂಗೀಕಾರ)(ಇನ್ನರ್ಧ+ಅವರೊಳ್)(ಜನುಮದ+ಉದ್ಧಾರ+ಇರ‍್ವರಿಗಂ+ಅನ್ಯೋನ್ಯ)

ಒಬ್ಬರೊಬ್ಬರ ದೇಹ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ದಾಂಪತ್ಯ ಜೀವನದ ಅರ್ಧ ಲಕ್ಷಣ. ಒಬ್ಬರೊಬ್ಬರು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದು ಇನ್ನರ್ಧ ಲಕ್ಷಣ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯ (ವಿನಿಮಯ) ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ದಂಪತಿಗಳಿಬ್ಬರ ಜನ್ಮಗಳೂ ಉದ್ಧಾರವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ.

Each of the married couple ought to accept the body of the other as his or her own
This would bless them with half the benefit of married life
Accepting the mind also like this would bless them with the other half
This is the path for the fulfilment of their loves, each one
Should derive strength through mutual exchange and support- Marula Muniya
