ಸತ್ಯಕೇ ಜಯವಂತೆ ! ಜಯವೆ ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕಿರಲು |
ಮುತ್ತುವುವದೇಕದನು ಕಲಹ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ? ||
ಬತ್ತಿ ಸೊರಗದ ತುಟಿಗೆ ರುಚಿಸದೇ ಜಯದ ಫಲ ? |
ಪಟ್ಟೆತಲೆಗೇಹೂವು ? - ಮರುಳ ಮುನಿಯ || (೨೭೦)

ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಗೆಲುವು ಎಂದರೂ ಆ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಏಕೆ ಮುತ್ತುತ್ತವೆ? ತುಟಿಯು ಬತ್ತಿ ಸೊರಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಫಲವು ರುಚಿಸಲಾರದೇನು? ಬೋಳು ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲು ಹೂವೇಕೇ ಬೇಕು?
