ಮೈಯ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಬೆಳಸಿ ಬಳಿಕೊಂದು ದಿನ ಕುರಿಯ |
ಆಯದಿಂ ತಲೆಕಡಿದು ಮಾರ‍್ವ ಕಟುಕನವೋಲ್ ||
ಮಾಯೆ ನಿನ್ನನು ಸಲಹಿ ನಲವಿಟ್ಟದೊಂದು ದಿನ |
ಹೇಯಕೆಳೆವಳು ನಿನ್ನ - ಮರುಳ ಮುನಿಯ || (೪೬೬)

ಕುರಿಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮೇವು ಹಾಕಿ ಅದರ ಮೈಯನ್ನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ಬೆಳೆಸಿ, ನಂತರ ಅದನ್ನು ಲಾಭ(ಆಯ)ಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾರುವ ಕಟುಕನಂತೆ, ಮಾಯೆಯೂ ಸಹ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕಾಪಾಡಿ, ಪ್ರೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ, ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಕೆಟ್ಟ(ಹೇಯ)ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆಯುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
